We live in the moment and appreciate what we have, finding joy in simple pleasures. We are cheerful and optimistic about what is to come. Enthusiasm helps us to imagine what is possible. We follow our dreams with true joy!"

The Virtues Project, a Canadian organization started in 1991, began with an idea -- that all children are born with the virtues in potential, and that when parents and educators awaken these gifts of character, we can change the world.

The Project is not affiliated with any particular faith but draws its research from all sacred traditions including the oral traditions of First Nations.
